Information for speakers

General information about presentations
In order to ensure the greatest possible diversity, each person may submit up to two presentations for the conference. Each person may only submit one application to organize an ad hoc group. This also applies to co-authors of contributions. Activities as a juror, moderator, or organizer of congress events are not considered presentations, provided that they only involve introductory remarks to the event. Moderators, organizers, and jurors of plenary events may not speak at their own events, with the exception of short introductions.

All speakers and organizers must officially register as participants in the conference. Organizers must be members of the DGS.
If you wish to apply for membership in the DGS and take advantage of the early bird rate when registering for the DGS conference, please submit your application (to be received by the office by email to JanDirk.Hoffmann(at)kwi-nrw.de or by regular mail). Members of the DGS participate in the conference at a reduced admission price. The early bird rate is valid until May 31, 2025. Membership in a section of the DGS alone does not entitle you to the reduced congress fee for DGS members.

Information about the conference book
After the conference, all speakers will be asked by the editors of the proceedings to write up their presentations so that they can be published in the conference book.
