Registration for Academic and Publishing Exhibitors
Invitation to Academic Publishers and Exhibitors
We cordially invite you, as an academic publisher or exhibitor, to present your organization to a broad, professionally engaged audience in the context of the congress. The Congress of the German Sociological Association (DGS) is the largest sociology event in the German-speaking world. From 28 September to 2 October 2026, we expect around 2,000 participants from Germany and abroad on the campus of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU)—including numerous distinguished guests from academia, research, and the public sphere.
Under the guiding theme ›The Futures of Society,‹ the 43rd DGS Congress aims to offer a diverse scholarly program of lectures, panel discussions, and workshops that creates space for both disciplinary and interdisciplinary exchange.
In addition to various digital presence options and entries in our printed materials, we offer you the opportunity to be present on site with a stand in the centrally located Philosophicum. The exhibition areas are located on the ground floor and first floor of the Philosophicum (Jakob-Welder-Weg 18, 55128 Mainz) and thus in close proximity to the event rooms where the well-attended section events take place. Lounges and other meeting places will also be set up in the Philosophicum. In addition, there is the cafeteria of the student union and a large computer pool.
For the first time, the congress brochure includes concise package deals as well as a transparent overview of fees.
Enclosed you will find our Exhibition & Sponsorship brochure along with a registration form. If you wish to book one of our offers, please send the completed form by email to dgskongress2026@uni-mainz.de. If we hear from you by 15 December 2024, we can include you in the preliminary program. Should you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact us.
For additional details, please consult the brochure—we look forward to your participation!
