Ad hoc groups

• 1 – 28 February 2026 - Submission of applications for the organization of an ad hoc group via the congress platform ConfTool. You will find the link for submission on this homepage from 01.02.2025.
• 31 March 2026 - Notification of acceptance or rejection. 

Author-meets-Critics events

• 28 February 2026 - Deadline for submission of applications. Please send your application to the DGS office (marcel.siepmann(at)kwi-nrw.de

Calls for Papers

• From January 2026 - Publication of the calls for papers for the section events on the congress homepage
• 28 February 2026 - Deadline for applications to the call for the poster exhibition. Please send your application to dgskongress-poster(at)uni-due.de
• 31 March 2026 - Deadline for applications to the calls for the plenary sessions. Please send your application to the respective juror named in the calls.
• From April 2026 - Publication of the calls for papers for the ad hoc groups on the congress website

Publication of the program

• February - Publication of the preliminary program on this homepage
• 11 May 2026 - Deadline for the registration of speakers, lecture titles and submission of abstracts for plenary, section, ad hoc events, author-meets-critics, special events, supporting program and general meetings

Congress registration

• 1 April – 31 May 2026 – Early-bird registration period
• 1 June – 27 September 2026 – Regular registration period
• 28 September  – 02 October 2025 – On-site registration at the daily rate
