Section events
The Section Sessions will take place from Tuesday, 29 September 2026, to Thursday, 1 October 2026, between 2:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., as well as on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, and Friday, 2 October 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
The Section Sessions are an integral part of the DGS Congress. The German Sociological Association (DGS) currently comprises 36 sections, each dedicated to different areas of sociological theory and methodology. Further information about the sections, their activities, and their events can be found on the official DGS website.
Language information: The English translations of the session titles are provided to help international participants navigate the programme. Please note that most section events will be held in German unless otherwise indicated.
