The Opening Ceremony will take place on Monday, 28 September 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Rheingoldhalle (Rheinstraße 66, 55116 Mainz). Check-in will be available from 3:00 p.m.

During the Opening Ceremony, several DGS awards will be presented. Admission is only possible with the entrance ticket you will receive at check-in. Following the Opening Ceremony, a reception with refreshments will take place in the foyer of the Rheingoldhalle.
